Social proof is one way of influencing other people’s behavior. By conveying a message that you are someone popular or worthy of attention, you will get others to like you and want to be with you.
If being ignored by women is your problem, then you need to up your social proof. You don’t have one? Then follow these tips.
Hang out with the cool guys
I’m sure you’ve once despised high school because of the popular crowd who bullies other students. You thought what is it that makes people want to be with them although they’re mean?
It’s because we, as human beings, are programmed to naturally gravitate towards those who other people like.
The same applies to attracting women. Social proof plays a crucial role in getting women to look your way. Do you know what women find attractive? It’s confidence and social status. There’s no way a woman (even the average-looking ones) will want to get romantic and sexual with a loser. They’d only want to be with a cool, confident, and popular guy.
Try hanging out with guys who are more outgoing. See how their cool and laid back attitude help them score with women. Eventually, their ways will rub off on you. And as you start to adapt the things they do, women will soon see you as someone interesting.
But more than that, the fact that you are associated with that particular group is enough to increase your street cred. Women who remember you as part of the cool guys will want to get you to themselves.
That’s guaranteed. Just look at how women drool over members of a really popular male group. Yeah, the example is lame, but it proves my point.
Your social status goes up a notch higher because of the people you hang out with.
Become more sociable—even if it’s just in selected situations
When in places where there are lots of good-looking people, being a wall flower will not work to your advantage. You will not get women to come to you because they may there’s something wrong with you just because you’re too quiet in a place full of energy.
The moment you step in, you have to put on a confident air. Do the following:
- Say ‘hi’ to people, even to those you don’t know. Doing so will make them think you’re cool and interesting.
- Engage in small conversations with friends and acquaintances. Make sure you sound and look interesting to attract women’s attention.
- Be nice and friendly to waiters and staff. Treat them like they’re old pals. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to people you don’t know.
Now if a woman is watching you from afar, she’ll wonder “who is this guy and why does he seem so popular with people?” She will then become so curious she’ll think you could be someone really interesting, hence someone she should meet.
Know how to be a good conversationalist
When you talk to people, it’s always good to tell anecdotes. You have to provide social proof with the stories you tell. Ideally, it’s better to be able to convey the following messages:
- You have friends and are associated with the cool crowd
- You are not a wimp; you have an exciting life
- People accept you because they like being with you
When you know how to become more sociable and let other people see it, you will succeed in getting women to notice you. You don’t need uber-good looks and a fat wallet to get swarmed by women. This is all you need.
