Sometimes you have to remind yourself that being good with women isn’t the be-all and the end-all. It’s one of life’s paradoxes; the more obsessed with women you are, the less likely you will be able to attract any. At this stage, you’ll need to take a step back and find something else to take up your time.
What do you do with your spare time?
I have a number of activities I can engage myself in whenever it is necessary. The following is merely a run down of some of the things I do, and I am in no way saying you have to copy me. This is just to so you can get an idea of what things can be done.
Go. When I tell people that I play Go, most give me a blank stare and ask “What’s that?” to which I respond by giving them a Wikipedia link. You can read up on it here:

It’s an abstract strategic board game that has its origins in ancient China. Research has shown that players of the game exercise both the left- and right-hand sides of the brain (chess players, in contrast, have been shown to be mostly using the left-hand side of the brain, what we understand as the “calculating” or “analytical” element).

Extreme Card Manipulation (XCM): I am a practitioner of XCM, the creative manipulation of playing cards as its own art form, separate from typical card magic. This time, when I tell people this and I get blank stares, I don’t need to point them to Wikipedia; all I do is pull out a deck of cards. How did I get into this art form?
I started out working on card magic when I was younger, and had attained a certain degree of competency. This was way before I got into pickup, and people were using magic tricks to impress girls. However, after a point I got tired of being a magician; there wasn’t enough variety for me, and I wasn’t interested in other forms of magic. Then I kind of stumbled upon XCM while browsing Google, and got hooked. Since then I’ve also participated in tournaments, and have also performed at a number of functions (university, cruises, etc).
As I take this art form somewhat seriously, it can be disputed whether or not this is a hobby or a profession. However, I will include this here for reference.

Martial Arts: This needs no explanation. I have practice martial arts for close to nine years. It develops the body, and cultivates the mind. Nothing beats a good workout and a hard sweat to freshen you up. Be aware of “Belt Factories” or “McDojos” though, institutions that don’t have any real substance and only give you weak lessons and belts for your money.
I will also be honest here; I have stopped attending my martial arts classes for a few months now. Not because I felt it was useless, but because I felt that sometimes a man needs time alone to develop himself, and I needed to take a break and allow things to pass. However, I also have every intention of going back to class when I feel ready.
What are you still waiting for?
Those are just some of the things I do to keep me occupied. I also like reading, meditation, filming and editing, and many other things I won’t list here for now. This article is an insight into what can be done in your won time, rather than just obsessing over women.
