If you are in your mid-twenties already, average-looking, hold a not-so-cool job, have a beer belly, and get ribs like “you look butt-ugly” or “you’re not really that handsome” from people you know from time to time, then you probably have problems in getting women.
This is not only because of the way you look or how much money you have in your wallet or the increasing bulge in your midsection. You may think that women don’t like you because of these things, but there is something far more indicative of why you can’t make women like you.
It’s your low self-confidence.
I know you ain’t stupid. I know you are aware that you are far from looking like Brad Pitt’s distant relative and that you can’t buy women fantastic gifts that would make them want to sleep with you. I know you are very much aware of what you have and don’t have.
I also know that you get affected by the teases and mockery brought upon by people around you. I know that it diminishes your confidence. And I know that your thinning confidence is holding you back from trying to make women attracted to you.
Confidence is your first weapon in breaking down a woman’s walls
Women like confident men. Take a pen and write this down in a sticky note and paste in on your fridge, or vanity mirror, or bedside table. Put it anywhere you are most likely to see it more than 5 times a day so you can totally absorb its meaning.
It may sound so cliché-like but a number of times, it’s not all about the looks. Beauty is skin-deep. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Okay, I’ve so overdone it. But you get my drift, right?
Women are not dumb. Even blonde ones. They’re actually smart and intuitive creatures. They won’t just fall for someone who has nice, white teeth, deep-set eyes, thin, sexy lips, and ripped abs unless they show some personality.
If they see a guy who looks so good but acts like a wimp, keeps his head down, avoiding looking at people’s eyes, and has his back hunched like Quasimodo because he claims he’s “shy,” then even with their good looks, they still would not be attractive to women simply because they seem to not be “man enough.”
Be a man
Women like confident men. Take notice of the last word—men. They don’t like boys; they want men. You should know the difference between a boy and a man. If not, then you are in trouble.
You won’t be scoring with hot women if you approach them like a timid, young boy. If they do strike a conversation with you, it would be because they find you ‘cute.’ And if you are on a mission to seriously meet women and get in their pants, then you would not want women to find you ‘cute.’
What does it take to be a man?
A lot. But it should be easy since you are technically a man. But that you will learn in the next series. For now, you should work on the first requirement in making women attracted to you: how to be confident.
So how do you become a confident man?
The first thing you need to do if you want to be confident is to realize that you are perfectly fine as you. Yes, you can always improve how you look—wear your hair a different way, choose clothes that highlight your body’s best features, or move with a little more swagger—or be more articulate when talking and stuff, but you should always know who you are and be comfortable with it.
Most men fail in trying to be confident with women because they don’t come into terms with who they are. They think that being confident is changing how they are. They put on a different persona—a cooler guy who, theoretically, is more confident. The only problem is they are not that person, so they will never be totally confident.
Next thing you need to do is to not seek a woman’s approval. Why? Seeking a woman’s approval betrays your purpose. It makes you subject to the woman’s bidding. A lot of men do this. They show women that they need their approval before they get things going. This puts women in control, which is something you don’t want to happen.
You’re the man—a man. And it is not manly to let women take the reins. It shows you are not a confident man.
Let her know that you want to know her approval, but it is extremely important that you emphasize that it is not needed.
Once you’ve managed to do this and build on your confidence, it wouldn’t matter if you don’t look like a Hollywood star or don’t have a car. As long as you are a confident man who knows how to handle himself in front of women, things will be promising for you.
