In most of these videos, we’ve been trying to dispel the myth that there’s some magical secret that will help you attract hot women. We’ve been trying to pound into your noggin the idea that you’re going to have to work hard and progress gradually, that it’s going to take time and involve learning several new skills and techniques, and that there is no one single thing that’s going to make it happen. And now, well…I’m telling you that that’s not entirely true.
Not that we were lying, or that you should ignore all the other videos you’ve already seen. The fact is, all the information in the previous lessons is very important, and very useful. But there’s still one element missing, the most important factor in growing out of Average Frustrated Chump-dom and becoming a true Pick-Up Master. This element binds together everything else you’ve learned and makes it work like a well-oiled machine; it’s so vital to your pick up success, that if you ignore it, you might as well give up. Are you ready to learn more?
One word–Attitude
That’s right. The power behind the Fonze’s magic thumbs. The grease in James Dean’s hair. It puts the U in PUA, and both Fs in Heffner. Attitude is the glue that holds your game together.
You see, knowing what to say, what to do, what to wear–these things are all important, yes. But what’s more important in the way you pull all this off. In other words, it’s less what you do, but how you do it, that’s going to help you attract more women.
A hypothetical example
Remember our pick up line that never fails, “How’s your night going”? Imagine, if you will, some nervous, pathetic clown, drenched in sweat head to toe, shoulders hunched, trembling with fear. Imagine him slowly stumbling his way up to a cute girl, now shaking violently, perhaps ready to pee himself any second. When she looks at him, he stammers:
“H-h-how’s y-your n-night g-going?”
Maybe we should change that title to “almost never fails”.
Now picture a smooth, suave, in-control guy, laughing easily, obviously enjoying himself. He moves like the club belongs to him, everyone there is his guest. He glides up to the woman who interests him, and with a wry smile, says:
“You know you’ve got a big wad of toilet paper on the bottom of your shoe, right?”
Now, I definitely don’t recommend trying that on your own, but the point is I’ve seen this happen, and I’ve seen it work. With the right attitude, you can say practically anything and have hot women flock to you. Without it, you’re lighting fireworks in a rainstorm; no matter how great the rest of your game is, nothing’s going to help you attract more women.
Are confidence and attitude the same thing?
Discriminating readers may ask: isn’t the difference between the two examples above more about confidence, than attitude? Yes and no. Confidence and attitude are very closely related concepts, and influence one another to a high degree. Building confidence is thus an essential part of developing the right attitude, and on the flip side, working on your attitude will help confidence with women come naturally.
The only question left unasked, then, is: What kind of attitude do I need to develop in order to attract more women? There is some flexibility allowed here; some PUAs experiment with several different personae, and eventually settle on the one they like best. But the most common, and by far the most tried-and-true pick up attitude, is the cocky funny one. Trust me on this; cocky comedy has been field tested countless times, and has worked for thousands, maybe millions of guys.
